Homeschooling runs deep in my blood and hits my TOP 5 list of things I LOVE chatting about! I was blessed to be able to homeschool both of my kids from start to finish, and am so thankful it was part of God’s plan for my life.
My family kicked off our homeschool journey in 2008 and I officially hung up my homeschool momma hat in May 2023. It was a journey! A blessed journey I never planned on taking, but God made the way and continually filled my heart with everything I needed. He took 15 years to mold and shape me into the mom I am today because of this journey. A homeschool journey I’m so thankful to have taken.
I learned so much right alongside my kids and I am excited to share our journey here at A Heart Filled. I’ll be sharing any and everything that revolves around homeschooling. I’m talking homeschool encouragement, tips, resources, and much more!
I’ll also be including My Heart Filled Homeschool REALity Chats! These chats are gonna be all about getting REAL! I’m not talking about the posts we find scrolling through social media that show off all those amazingly, wonderful, got-it-all-together moments…NOPE! I’m talking about getting REAL honest about all those messy, hard, challenging days, AND all the special days a homeschool momma holds on to, cherishes and looks back on often.
Homeschooling is NOT easy! Homeschooling IS filled with struggles. But, it’s ALSO filled with God’s abundant blessings, sprinkled with lots and lots of love, hope, and joy.
I’ve walked the road, I understand, and I’m here to encourage you along the way.
When I became a mom, homeschooling was never on my radar and yet it’s one of my most favorite things to talk about. It’s a journey that will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I pray the words I write are just the right amount of encouragement for those mommas that stop by and fill up.
