Come Boldly Before The King
God IS our King, Friend, and Counselor!! Because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross we get full access to God Almighty! Hebrews 4:16 tells us we get to draw near to God and we can do it BOLDLY, with great confidence. I stand in awe of this Bible verse because it reminds me of just how big an impact Jesus’ sacrifice was. When He died on the cross the veil was torn. (Mark 15:37-39, Hebrews 10:19-22) This means we no longer need a priest to go before God on our behalf. We get to go before Him! We get to talk with Him, walk with Him, and lean on Him.
WE GET FULL ACCESS!!
AND…what’s even better is knowing Jesus is sitting on the throne, ALIVE, advocating on our behalf! (Matthew 28:5-6, Luke 24:6-7, Mark 16:19, Romans 8:34) So, when I say God IS our King, Friend, and Counselor – I mean it! HE’S OUR EVERYTHING!
