EXPLORING VIRTUES – PERSEVERANCE
How does one follow through with a task/goal when one is completely over it?!!? Not interested in it anymore? Or, would rather be doing anything but said task/goal?
It’s called PERSEVERANCE!! And, we can read all about it in God’s Word!!
Placed strategically throughout the pages of the Bible you’ll notice this motivational virtue popping up right when you need to hear it most. God knows when, and His words will go a little something like this, “Don’t give up! Just keep pushing through! You’ve got this, only a little further to go! You don’t have to do it alone, I’m right here by your side.”
Perseverance is all about a determination to see it through until the end!
It’s a virtue that helps us to keep going when all we want to do is quit. When we take the time to study this virtue in God’s Word we find out God IS our coach and He is constantly cheering us on! Not only that, but God is ALSO where we gain our strength and drive to keep pressing forward! AND, what’s even better is that the more we remind ourselves of these amazing truths the more determined we can be to push through each and every time.
Perseverance is a virtue worth exploring!!!
It’s time to go on a Bible hunt with the kids in your life! This virtue exploration is broken down into 4 sections, and focuses on exploring Bible verses that fit/explain the virtue in the spotlight. Each section is a “starting point” to help ignite the flame. The possibilities are endless, really!!
