Give Thanks is an oldie, but goodie! Henry Smith published it back in 1978. It’s a simple song with a catchy melody, and it’s filled with a message we all need to hear and be reminded of often!
The message:
God gave His only begotten Son so we may live and not perish (John 3:16), and because this is such a great and mighty gift from our Heavenly Father we give thanks!
A grateful heart makes all the difference! Fixing our thoughts on God’s blessings and all the good in our life changes our perspective. No matter our circumstances, when our hearts are filled with thankfulness towards our Savior and Provider we are able to stand tall and happy.

God’s sacrifice was made for us all! His love overflows in and around us. Through Christ we gain His strength and abundant riches this world cannot give. When the Holy Spirit makes His home inside our hearts we experience His divine love, care, and guidance for us. These are all blessings worth thanking our Heavenly Father for over and over again!
