The lyrics Dennis L. Jernigan wrote back in 1990 have been sung over and over again by numerous artists throughout the years. The message the song sends to those that hear it is a wonderful blessing that is sure to uplift the soul. It’s a great reminder of who God is to us, and an amazing encouragement for us to keep seeking our Savior with an grateful heart.

Whenever I hear this song it sticks with me for days, sometimes even weeks! It makes my heart so happy and lifts my mood abundantly. My Savior and Lord fills my cup…and my heart overflows with joy. As the lyrics state, He is a priceless treasure! He’s worthy of all the praise because He’s more than a precious jewel, He’s the great I Am!

Let’s fill our hearts with this song believing…

Jesus is our all in all. He will take care of us. He’s wants to be our strength and refuge. Our Lord will pick us up just like the song says. He’s our Great Redeemer. His love for us is HUGE. His sacrifice on the cross was for us, and He is so worth chasing after. God is our steady source for EVERYTHING, and because of this we sing!

Seek Him! Praise Him! Love Him!
