He Fills Me With Wonder – FALL COLORS

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (ESV)

Fall Colors

To me, fall is a time of renewal. It’s an invitation to cozy up next to our Lord and Savior and allow Him to renew us from the inside out, like autumn trees. With autumn trees comes FALL COLORS!!

Fall is filled with rich, warm colors. Colors that bring a sense of calm and crispness to the air. There’s just something special about the colors this season brings, and this is where a heart filled with wonder can start anew!

God’s Majestic Handiwork

God’s majestic handiwork is always on display, and come autumn time He doesn’t disappoint! As the leaves begin to fall and fade away He graces us with a color show like none other! It’s these colors I love filling my house with during the season, because there’s just something about the golden, rich hues that makes a home feel all cozy. I find myself settling into a new, more calming, routine when the fall colors drape themselves around my house and I absolutely love it.

This, my friends, is how God works His mighty majestic ways in my life! He knows just what I need, when I need it most and He knows just what you need, when you need it most. AND…HE DELIVERS!!

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

2 Corinthians 5:17(NLT)

Just like autumn trees loose their leaves during the fall and lay dormant until the spring when new life begins, we too get to experience new life! Jesus makes it possible! When we open our hearts and invite Him in we become new creations and God works His ways in and through us. Fall colors are one of the wonders that helps to remind us of this!

Be Filled With Wonder

The next time you take a stroll through an autumn-covered path, or drive around looking for all the fall colors, remember just as God renews the trees He also renews us! Renewal is important for growth and revival. Our lives crave it, and our Heavenly Father is where it’s at!

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'”

Jeremiah 29:11(NIV)

Have you allowed God to fill you with wonder lately? Look around! Standing in awe of His wonders could just be the warmth your heart’s been craving. So…

Embrace the fall colors!

Oh, how God fills me with wonder!

Bible Facts – Fall Colors

Every day is a gift from God. Seasons come and go; change is inevitable!

Are you filling your days with God?

Are you allowing Him to fill your heart with wonder?

The book of Ecclesiastes was written by the wisest man ever, Solomon. He pours out his heart in this book, of the Bible, describing how life is apart from God. In chapter 3 we read about his observations on timing. Fall colors remind us of several things, and this chapter in Ecclesiastes helps bring light to these reminders.

“1For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. 2A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest. 3A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to tear down and a time to build up. 4A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance. 5A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones. A time to embrace and a time to turn away. 6A time to search and a time to quit searching. A time to keep and a time to throw away. 7A time to tear and a time to mend. A time to be quiet and a time to speak. 8A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (NLT)

There is a time for everything!

Fall colors appear at the exact time they are meant to. Autumn comes and goes. Don’t miss out on being filled with God’s mighty wonder! Embrace the season of renewal and allow the warm, inviting colors to flood your heart with hope that change is on the horizon.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”

James 1:17 (ESV)

I’m so thankful God created seasons and has filled each one with new and exciting things! Fall colors are just one of the many wonders He’s blessed us with. Take a moment to cozy up next to God and allow these golden, rich hues to flood your heart with a warmth like none other.

Have you thanked God for fall colors?

A thankful heart is a grateful heart!

When we thank God for all the blessings He showers us with our heart fills up.

Make time for prayer.

Thank God for fall colors, His perfect timing, and all the changes He brings to your life.

Remember, God’s timing is perfect. God allows change for a reason. Every change has a purpose and a plan that was laid out before we were even around. When the autumn leaves begin to fall and fade around you send your prayers up to the one who created it all.

Fall colors are a beautiful blessing!

Stand in awe of God’s Wonders!
