Inward Renewal
My most favorite time of the year is finally here!
As each season passes, with changes that slip beautifully into place by the hands of God, it’s a great reminder that we too can allow our Heavenly Father to make wonder-working changes in our lives. I like to think of fall as a time of renewal, where we are allowed to settle into a new, cozier routine and hopefully, by the grace of God, let things go that are filling our time with meaningless motions. With fall comes a renewed mindset where we are given the opportunity to find time for the things that matter most!
See! Fall just keeps getting better and better!!! Not only do we get to enjoy the falling leaves, the change of colors, the crispness in the air, and pumpkin everything, but we get to enjoy God’s gift of inward renewal.
RENEWAL IS AN ESSENTIAL GIFT!
Fill Your Heart!
So, like this Bible verse reminds us our days will continue to pass and we will grow older and older, but inside, at the core of our existence, renewal is available. And, how does this inward renewal take place? Through God! It begins when we commit our lives to our Heavenly Father. Once we make this commitment, the Holy Spirit will stir our hearts every time we open up our Bibles. Our hearts will then begin to fill and we will become renewed from the inside out through God’s wonder-working ways!
