  • Hebrews 9:11
  • Hebrews 10:12
  • Hebrews 10:14

“The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and He sustains everything by the mighty power of His command. When He had cleansed us from our sins, He sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in Heaven.”

Hebrews 1:3 (NLT)

“So God has given both His promise and His oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to Him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.

Hebrews 6:18 (NLT)

“This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.”

Hebrews 6:19 (NLT)

Friends, Jesus is there…in the inner sanctuary!!! He not only is our Savior and Redeemer, but He is our Lord – our High Priest. (Hebrews 6:20) He is the One that grants us mercy and grace. AND…He waits for us to come to Him with confidence – to pray with confidence!! Daily! Hourly! As often as we need to!

“Prayer is our approach to God, and we are to come ‘boldly.’ Some Christians approach God with heads hung low, afraid to ask Him to meet their needs. Others pray flippantly, giving little thought to what they say. Come with reverence because He is your King. But also come with bold assurance because He is your Friend and Counselor.

Pray With Confidence

When we take the time to fill our hearts with God’s Word we gain so much understanding!!! We learn about our Creator!!! We learn about His ways, how big His love is, how amazing His plans are, and just how much He wants a relationship with each of us. He offers His time, His patience, His mercy, His grace for every single one of His children. God’s arms are always opened, His ears are always listening, and His divine nature keeps on loving…no matter what!!!

Friends, these are the truths about our High Priest that we can plant our hopes, fears, dreams…all of our trust in!! And with this kind of truth planted in our hearts it should make it easy for us to pray with confidence. (Hebrews 7:19) Because God makes it possible!!!

Prayer Walk: Hebrews 4:16 | A Heart Filled With A Bible Verse For Prayer

“Here is the main point: We have a High Priest who sat down in the place of honor beside the throne of the majestic God in Heaven… Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for He is the one who mediates for us… He is the one who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant.”

Hebrews 8:1, 6; 9:15 (NLT)

“And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter Heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By His death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting Him.”

Hebrews 10:19-22a (NLT)

Friends, as Believers in Christ, we have been washed in the blood(Hebrews 10:22), and we get to hold tightly to the hope God offers, because He can be trusted. (Hebrews 10:23) So, remain faithful and keep on praying with patient endurance. (Hebrews 10:35-39)
