(1) Psalms 11:4

  • There’s just something about a verse that gives recognition, honor, and glory to the King of kings! David’s faith shines through in this verse. David was a man that chased after God’s own heart. He understood and believed in God’s power and might! He knew what kind of God He served and his belief lead to hope, hope that could only be found in his Creator, Deliverer, and Mighty Protector – the Holy King who reigns forever and ever!

“But the Lord is in His Holy Temple; the Lord still rules from Heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on Earth.”

Psalms 11:4 (NLT)

(2) Psalms 12:6

  • Oh my!! This verse!! I can’t get enough of it!! God’s Word and all His promises are genuine, friends. I’m talking about the real deal. Flawless! Beautiful! Truth! They are refined silver that’s been purified beyond greatness, beyond excellence, beyond perfection! His promises are going down all over the world, because they are alive and they are active. Nothing can stop what God speaks into existence, because He is the Author. It’s simply what He does – His promises cannot be broken, His words will last forever and ever. So, the next time you go doubting just how incredible and reliable our Mighty God really is read this verse and then give Him some much deserved praise and worship! Because…nothing!!! I mean nothing tops the Lord’s promises.

“The Lord’s promises are pure, like silver refined in a furnace, purified seven times over.”

Psalms 12:6 (NLT)

(3) Psalms 13:5, 6

  • These verses sure do have me rejoicing…how bout you?!? It’s because they sum up God’s very nature. God is love; God does rescue; God is so, so very good. Here’s some amazing advice – remember these verses, rejoice in these verses, and share these verses with others! It’s up to us to spread the Good News around. So, speak of God’s unfailing love and share your testimony!

“But I trust in Your unfailing love. I will rejoice because You have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because He is good to me.”

Psalms 13:5, 6 (NLT)

(4) Psalms 14:2

  • Another verse talking about the Throne of Grace. Friends, our Savior and Lord reigns from Heaven above and one day soon He’s coming back to take us home with Him. Will you be ready? Seek Him now while you can!

“The Lord looks down from Heaven on the entire human race; He looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.”

Psalms 14:2 (NLT)

(5) Psalms 15:2-5

  • God’s standards of living are outlined in this Psalm. Verses 2-5 clue us in on how we need to be living our lives as we make our pilgrimage through this world. The only way to truly live a life worthy of His calling is to abide in Him, day in and day out. Even though we are a flawed human race that has been corrupted by sin, God’s forgiveness, mercy, and grace is ours for free because of Jesus’ sacrifice! Jesus paid our debt in full, and now it’s up to each one of us to call upon His name, lay our sins at His feet, and live out our lives in accordance to what His Word tells us and how the Holy Spirit directs us. So keep striving to live a blameless life!! Allow the words found in this Psalm to help you along the way, and, as you do, lean into God’s love, strength, and power to make it all possible!

“Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends. Those who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the Lord, and keep their promises even when it hurts. Those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever.”

Psalms 15:2-5 (NLT)

(6) Psalms 16:11

  • This is what a relationship with Jesus is all about!! Accepting the free gift of salvation is just the beginning, because once we enter into this sacred relationship with our Savior and Lord we gain and we keep gaining. His presence is a constant, steady assurance. As Believers, our hope rests in the fact that eternity awaits us and while we wait He’s with us, taking care of us, guiding us, and flooding our hearts continually with His love and joy! Oh what a wonderful life it is to have Jesus by your side!!

“You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of Your presence and the pleasures of living with You forever.”

Psalms 16:11 (NLT)

(7) Psalms 17:7a

  • God does this every day, friends!! Can’t fix your eyes on it? Make sure to ask God to show you! After asking, pay attention. God’s love flows freely and surely. And…the wonderful ways are too many to count!! Because, His unfailing love surrounds us!! God’s love is full of comfort and peace, it’s sustaining, assuring, abundant, and can burst forth in mighty, powerful wonder-working ways. Take time every day to fill up on all the wonderful ways He’s loving you!!

“Show me Your unfailing love in wonderful ways.”

Psalms 17:6, 7a (NLT)

(8) Psalms 18:30

  • I mean is there much more to add to this verse?!? Might I suggest a reread? And then, stand amazed as you give God all the glory for He is perfect and His words are true!!

“This God – His way is perfect; the Word of the Lord proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him.”

Psalms 18:30 (NLT)

(9) Psalms 19:7, 8

  • Yep! It’s all true!! His instructions, decrees, commandments all have purpose. And, their purpose is to help us stay on His path, help us keep our eyes fixed on Him solely, help us live our lives more abundantly. A reviving soul, a joyful heart, and thoughts wrapped up in His ways keep us near to the Lord. When we choose to follow God we choose to live a life in harmony with the One who created us, with the One who loves us!

“The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living.”

Psalms 19:7, 8 (NLT)

(10) Psalms 20:7

  • I love a good Psalm that gets me up and singing, and this is one of the many that do!! Have you heard of the song, We Trust In The Name Of The Lord Our God? It’s a song that was written by Steven Curtis Chapman, released in 1994, and sung by Steve Green. Oh nostalgia! The tempo, the tune…it’s full on 90’s…sooo good!! (I know you’re now eager to go look it up, so here you go – CLICK HERE! Don’t forget to really listen to the lyrics and, as always, give God the glory as you jam out!)

“Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the name of the Lord our God.”
