So many wonderful Bible verses can be found in the book of Psalms! Verses to meditate on, inspire and uplift a soul, and totally get a heart pumping full of majestic joy. AND…I wanted to share the ones that speak truth into my heart, fill me up with gladness, and keep me singing praise to the King of kings.

Although, I do highly recommend each heart take the time needed to journey through this book of the Bible on their own I pray the verses I share will be an encouragement to those that read through them! I also pray these verses I share will ignite a flame of desire in the hearts of many to open up their Bibles and fill up on the powerful words Psalms offers.

Friends, God’s Word is alive and active!!! Every bit of the Bible is useful, and it’s up to each one of us to dig in and fill up. So without further ado, it’s time to dig into Psalms: Chapters 21-30!

God’s awesome, divine nature shines through in every single Psalm found in the Bible, and we have access 24/7. Filling up on God’s goodness is ours for the taking every single day we are alive, friends!!!

Awe-Inspiring Scripture Found In Psalms: Chapters 21-30

(1) Psalms 21:13

What a wonderful demonstration of how we should be worshiping our Lord! His mighty acts are beyond imaginable and we have the opportunity every day to praise Him for all He does. So, with music and singing let us celebrate the King of the Universe!

“Rise up, O Lord, in all Your power. With music and singing we celebrate Your mighty acts.”

(2) Psalms 22:22

I love this verse! To me, it’s a reminder about what a community of fellow Believers allows for Christians all around the world. When we get together we get to embrace koinōnia. This lovely Greek word means real, genuine fellowship amongst God’s people in the midst of God’s presence. It’s a type of fellowship where Believers come together to worship, praise, serve, and honor God in a means to progressively grow closer in their walk with the Lord. It’s time spent together serving and honoring God to the fullest. This type of fellowship is real, genuine, beneficial, and part of God’s plan. (3) Psalms 23:6

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days, all the days of my life. (Did I just catch you singing along to this good ole Hymn with me?!?! I hope so!) I just can’t get enough of God’s goodness!! Of His unfailing love!! Friends, His goodness, His love, His mercy PURSUES us, and one day we will live in the house of the Lord forever!! AMEN!! Friends, Psalms 23 is hope-filled words of encouragement! Thank you God for inspiring David to write these beautiful words for us to read over and over again.

“Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.”

(4) Psalms 24:7-10

Make way for our Eternal King! For His is the kingdom that reigns forever and ever!! He is strong; He is mighty; He is invincible!! Yes, give all praise and honor to the King of Glory!!

“Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty; the Lord, invincible in battle. Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The Lord of Heaven’s Armies—He is the King of glory.”

(5) Psalms 25:14

Another verse that reminds us the Lord is our Friend!! Thank you, Jesus!! And, thank you for continually teaching us Your ways.

“The Lord is a Friend to those who fear Him. He teaches them His covenant.”

(6) Psalms 26:7

Heartfelt worship can be seen in this verse!! When we sing with thanksgiving in our heart it shines bright and it’s contagious! So, SING! And, as you sing tell of all His wonders. Because, God’s wonders are full of awe and amazement and totally worth our attention and praise.

“I come to Your altar, O Lord, singing a song of thanksgiving and telling of all Your wonders.”

(7) Psalms 27:4

Friends, this is what we get to look forward to: eternity in the presence of the Lord forever and ever! (John 3:16) Have you accepted God’s free gift of salvation? Do you know where you’ll be going when you die? Heaven awaits His children!! It’s not too late, turn to Him today.

“The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in His Temple.”

(8) Psalms 28:7

I love when I run across the word – JOY – in the Bible! It warms my heart and well, gets me jumping for…Jesus!! Joy comes from our Creator. There is nothing that compares. God’s joy surpasses all our circumstances and situations. Joy is sustaining!! And, when a heart is full of joy the only thing it can do is burst forth singing songs full of praise and thanksgiving. So, let Jesus flood your soul with His joy and burst forth into wonderful worship fit for the King of the world!!

“The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust Him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.”

(9) Psalms 29:4

This is how the Lord rolls!! He spoke the world into existence, friends!! (Psalms 33:6-9, Genesis 1:1-31) I mean is there really anything more to say besides majestic, powerful, AWESOME!!!

(10) Psalms 30:4, 5

And, to wrap up this list, a final reminder to praise His holy name. Today’s failures, sorrows, and tears will soon pass away but God stands firm always and forever. He is where we find our joy, and He will get us through. He is the Lord of Heaven and Earth and because of this we can sing afresh each morning.

“Sing to the Lord, all you godly ones! Praise His holy name. For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.”
