(1) Psalms 31:19

  • This verse is saturated in God’s divine character. His goodness is GREAT!!! Did you hear the words “lavish” and “blessing”? This is how He works, friends!! He continually pours out His goodness and favor on those who follow Him wholeheartedly.

“How great is the goodness You have stored up for those who fear You. You lavish it on those who come to You for protection, blessing them before the watching world.”

Psalms 31:19 (NLT)

(2) Psalms 32:11

  • As you make your way through the book of Psalms you’ll notice that this verse is a key theme throughout. We get to rejoice in the Lord and be glad, friends!! We get to shout for joy, because of who God is. He is our Creator, Heavenly Father, and the One who wins in the end! He loves and cares for us deeply. He is our Redeemer and our Friend, and His plans surpass it all!!

“So rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey Him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!”

Psalms 32:11 (NLT)

(3) Psalms 33:4

  • I love this verse!! What a great reminder for us all. God is the only One who can be trusted – all the time, no matter what. His words DO hold true!! The closer we get to God, friends, the more we learn about Him. And, the more we learn about Him, the more we can trust Him!! By staying in constant communication with Him via the Bible, aka the only book of truth, and prayer we learn, gain, and grow so much!! The Bible, friends, is God-breathed, alive, active, AND stands the test of time. It’s a great resource, a wonderful help, and a lasting testimony. And, if that’s not enough, God fills us up every single time we open it. God speaks truth straight to our hearts one verse at a time. With the Holy Spirit’s guidance, His words sink down deep, building us up. So, we can stand firm believing everything God says is true, because GOD IS TRUTH!!

“For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything He does.”

Psalms 33:4 (NLT)

(4) Psalms 34:3

  • As Believers, this is what we are called to do as we make our pilgrimage through this world. We get to come together and tell of His greatness. We get to shout it out for the whole world to hear, friends! For our God is Worthy!!

“Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt His name together.”

Psalms 34:3 (NLT)

(5) Psalms 35:27

  • Joy and peace is found in God alone and He delights in blessing us with both! It’s these gifts that sustain us and help us to make it through! (Psalms 16:11, John 14:27, Galatians 5:22-23, Romans 15:13)

“But give great joy to those who came to my defense. Let them continually say, ‘Great is the Lord, who delights in blessing His servant with peace!'”

Psalms 35:27 (NLT)

(6) Psalms 36:7

  • This verse is pure comfort! Under God’s wings there is shelter, all because of His precious unfailing love.

“How precious is Your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of Your wings.”

Psalms 36:7 (NLT)

(7) Psalms 37:4

  • As a Christian grows closer to God this verse becomes clearer and clearer. Our heart’s desires will line up with the Lord’s if we stay connected with Him. This is exciting news, because God’s will is where it’s at!! His plans and purpose are for us not against us and they far exceed anything we could dream up on our own. So, take delight in the Lord today, tomorrow, and every day after!

“Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you your heart’s desires.”

Psalms 37:4 (NLT)

(8) Psalms 38:9

  • God knows us, hears us, and understands us! The Life Application Study Bible ©2004 states the theme for Psalms 38 to be: “Sorrow for sin brings hope. God alone is the true source of healing and protection for those who confess their sins to Him.” When we let go of our sin we find healing and we restore our hope! There is freedom in God’s forgiveness, friends!!

“You know what I long for, Lord; You hear my every sigh.”

Psalms 38:9

(9) Psalms 39:4-5

  • This should motivate us!! We are only here on Earth for a short while, and while we are here we need to make the most of it by serving and honoring the One we will spend eternity with. Think about it…if this were your last day on Earth how would you go about spreading the Good News? Answer the question and then live each day like it’s your last. Be the light and spread God’s love around before it’s too late.

“Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered – how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to You; at best, each of us is but a breath.”

Psalms 39:4-5 (NLT)

(10) Psalms 40:5

  • This is just so amazing to me! For God still has so much in store for each one of us. So, keep pressing forward, fighting the good fight, and clinging to the One whose wonderful deeds are too numerous to list. Friend, God is not over with you yet!

“O Lord my God, You have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all Your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.”

Psalms 40:5 (NLT)
