So many wonderful Bible verses can be found in the book of Psalms! Verses to meditate on, inspire and uplift a soul, and totally get a heart pumping full of majestic joy. AND…I wanted to share the ones that speak truth into my heart, fill me up with gladness, and keep me singing praise to the King of kings.

Although, I do highly recommend each heart take the time needed to journey through this book of the Bible on their own I pray the verses I share will be an encouragement to those that read through them! I also pray these verses I share will ignite a flame of desire in the hearts of many to open up their Bibles and fill up on the powerful words Psalms offers.

Friends, God’s Word is alive and active!!! Every bit of the Bible is useful, and it’s up to each one of us to dig in and fill up. So without further ado, it’s time to dig into Psalms: Chapters 61-70!

Filling up on God’s goodness is ours for the taking every single day we are alive, friends!!!

Awe-Inspiring Scripture Found In Psalms: Chapters 61-70

(1) Psalms 61:5

There’s just something about reading the word “inheritance” in the Bible that keeps me singing for joy! It’s a divine inheritance set apart for all those that accept God’s free gift of salvation – for all those that claim Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Heaven is still taking reservations, friends!! So, if you haven’t already, claim yours now before it’s too late.

“For you have heard my vows, O God. You have given me an inheritance reserved for those who fear Your name.”
Psalms 61:5 (NLT)

(2) Psalms 62:5

As Believers, we are called to be more and more like Jesus each day. So, as we sit at our Savior’s feet, soaking in all He has to teach us, let us remember His voice is all that matters. Let us be inspired by the words found in this verse and walk in faith filled with hope!

“Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in Him.”

(3) Psalms 63:3

Oh my!! This verse is powerful!! God’s unfailing love is the real deal, friends!!!

“Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise You!”

(4) Psalms 64:10

When we enter into a personal relationship with God we experience His majestic, mighty presence in powerful, wonder-working ways which gives us cause for praise. As we grow closer and closer to God our walk strengthens, our heart overflows, and there’s only one thing we can do…burst forth in REJOICING PRAISE!!!

“The godly will rejoice in the Lord and find shelter in Him. And those who do what is right will praise Him.”

(5) Psalms 65:5

This verse unpacks a lot for us to be grateful for! God is faithful! He answers our prayers, but He doesn’t just “answer” them, He goes above and beyond with awesome deeds!! He’s where we find our hope…He’s where the WHOLE world can find their hope. God’s divine nature just blows my mind!!

“You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our Savior. You are the hope of everyone on Earth, even those who sail on distant seas.”

(6) Psalms 66:1-2

Tell the world!!! That’s our job! What a wonderful calling we, as Believers, have. To spread the Good News around telling of all His wonder and amazement as we sing praise to His name. It starts where you are, right now, at this exact moment! Don’t let it pass you up! Shout with joyful praise singing about His glory and telling of all the beautiful, mighty things He’s done for you and then watch as it spreads all around!

“Shout joyful praises to God, all the Earth! Sing about the glory of His name! Tell the world how glorious He is.”

(7) Psalms 67:2

Another verse to remind us that we need to be part of sharing the Good News with others!

“May Your ways be known throughout the Earth, Your saving power among people everywhere.”

(8) Psalms 68:4, 33

These verses!! Love them SO MUCH!! I’m actually speechless, just standing in awe. God is beyond awesome, beyond mighty, beyond amazement!!

“(4)Sing praises to God and to His name! Sing loud praises to Him who rides the clouds. His name is the Lord— rejoice in His presence! (33)Sing to the One who rides across the Ancient Heavens, His mighty voice thundering from the sky.”

(9) Psalms 69:32

A humble heart makes all the difference! God’s got this!! It’s only when we can let go that we actually begin to live.

“The humble will see their God at work and be glad. Let all who seek God’s help be encouraged.”

(10) Psalms 70:4

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control!! When we earnestly, genuinely seek God out (chasing after His own heart) we not only get to fill up with this awesomeness, but we also get to spread it around. Now, that’s definitely worth a repeated shout out – GOD IS GREAT!

“But may all who search for You be filled with joy and gladness in You. May those who love Your salvation repeatedly shout, ‘God is great!'”

Friends, I pray these verses will encourage, strengthen, and uplift you today!! I pray you allow the Holy Spirit to intervene in your life and show you just how amazing you are in His eyes. I pray you got filled, excited, and are able to keep the worship going strong all week long!
