So many wonderful Bible verses can be found in the book of Psalms! Verses to meditate on, inspire and uplift a soul, and totally get a heart pumping full of majestic joy. AND…I wanted to share the ones that speak truth into my heart, fill me up with gladness, and keep me singing praise to the King of kings.

Although, I do highly recommend each heart take the time needed to journey through this book of the Bible on their own I pray the verses I share will be an encouragement to those that read through them! I also pray these verses I share will ignite a flame of desire in the hearts of many to open up their Bibles and fill up on the powerful words Psalms offers.

Friends, God’s Word is alive and active!!! Every bit of the Bible is useful, and it’s up to each one of us to dig in and fill up. So without further ado, it’s time to dig into Psalms: Chapters 81-90!

Awe-Inspiring Scripture Found In Psalms: Chapters 81-90

(1) Psalms 81:16

Don’t you just love how God takes care of us?! We can be totally reliant on the One who provides, because He’s been providing from the very beginning. Check this out! This Psalms was written to celebrate God’s goodness towards His people during the time of the Exodus from Egypt. It speaks of His unfailing love and care for a rebellious crowd that kept straying. It shows us God’s heart toward His people. Friends, God delivered the Israelites over and over again, and He will deliver you too!

“But I would feed you with the finest wheat. I would satisfy you with wild honey from the rock.”

(2) Psalms 82:8

This verse should inspire us to stand firm in what the Bible tells us and live out our lives according to Scripture. God’s power is on display all around, friends! He is the righteous and fair judge, and we can stand assured that He’s sovereign over all.

“Rise up, O God, and judge the earth, for all the nations belong to You.”

(3) Psalms 83:18

More goodness about God’s divine nature! Over and over again the Bible speaks of God’s amazing and powerful character, and this verse is just one of the many we run across when we open our Bibles and fill our hearts! God’s in charge, friends. It’s true! He is SUPREME over all the Earth!! Hallelujah!!!

“Then they will learn that You alone are called the Lord, that You alone are the Most High, supreme over all the Earth.”

(4) Psalms 84:2

Oh my!! This is good stuff!! When your relationship with God gets to this point, it only gets better and better as the days go by. PURE JOY!!! Can I just draw your attention to “enter the courts of the Lord”?!?! This is talking about church! Church is important. It keeps us connected with fellow Believers as we draw closer to the Lord. It’s a time of worship and fellowship with the body of Christ! So, when we assemble together joy abounds!

“I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the Lord. With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God.”

(5) Psalms 85:10-12

Wow, such beautiful words! Such wonderful words! And…now I’m singing!! Why don’t you join me?! “Sing them over again to me, Wonderful words of life; Let me more of their beauty see, Wonderful words of life; Words of life and beauty, Teach me faith and duty; Beautiful words, Wonderful words; Wonderful words of life…“ (Lyrics taken from the Hymn: Wonderful Words of Life)

“Unfailing love and truth have met together. Righteousness and peace have kissed! Truth springs up from the earth, and righteousness smiles down from Heaven. Yes, the Lord pours down His blessings. Our land will yield its bountiful harvest.”

How amazing is God?! This verse tells us! This entire Psalms is filled with wonderful, awe-inspiring verses for our hearts!! Open up your Bible and find out for yourself.

(7) Psalms 87:7

Heaven!!! This verse is talking about Heaven! Repeat after me…“The source of my life springs from Heaven!!”

(8) Psalms 88:1

Just another reminder that we can go to God whenever, wherever. No matter the time, He is always there!!

(9) Psalms 89:15-17

Wow!! This WHOLE Psalm is pure joy! I love it so much!!! Praise the Lord, Jesus Christ reigns forever and ever! How awesome and wonderful is our God!

“Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of Your presence, Lord. They rejoice all day long in Your wonderful reputation. They exult in Your righteousness. You are their glorious strength. It pleases You to make us strong.”

(10) Psalms 90:14

We can be filled each and every morning, friends! Taking the time every day to open your Bible and fill your heart feeds the soul!! It’s that constant communication with our Creator that keeps us singing for joy.
