A Heart Filled With Praise Intro

I love how Christian music continues to flourish, as more and more Christian artists hit the stage and sing praise to Jesus the King. Friends, music is so, so good for the soul!! Filling our hearts full of worship music makes the days a bit lighter and always brighter.

I’ve been writing about different songs that have touched my life over the past year and I thought moving into the summer would be the perfect time to start sharing some uplifting, encouraging playlists with my readers. Because…YOU CAN’T JUST LISTEN TO ONE SONG AND CALL IT DONE…that’s just not how music works!! Well…at least in my world anyway. So, I’ve got you covered this summer!

I’m excited to write these posts as Christian music has always touched a special place in my heart and I love sharing all the songs that comfort me, shake up my world, and help me keep moving forward on this incredible journey with my Lord and Savior!

Worship Music About Our Savior!

I just love when I’m listening to my music and a song starts playing that points me straight to Jesus and all the amazing things He has done and still does for me, for us, for the world! The artists that come up with the lyrics for these songs understand who He is.

He’s our Savior!

Jesus came to Earth, in human form, to walk side by side sinners like you and I. He came to spread the Good News and then, ultimately, pay the penalty for the sins of the world. He died on the cross for our freedom! But, because He is God He rose…death could not stop Him!! AND…now He’s seated on the Heavenly throne advocating for each and every single one of His children. Now, tell me this isn’t the greatest news you’ve ever heard!?

Jesus, the Messiah, our Redeemer and Lord understands, cares, and loves us unconditionally. He suffered, bled, and died for us, and He’s alive!!! Friends, Jesus conquered death and right this very moment He is preparing a place for us to live with Him for all of eternity.

His very nature should give us all the more reason to get our worship on!! Friends, it’s time to give God some well-deserved honor and heartfelt, enthusiastic praise. It’s time to drench our thoughts, our hearts, our souls in all of God’s goodness…all of His amazing, wonderful glory!!

I told you there were just way too many wonderful songs out there pointing us straight to Jesus in the my first playlist post and so here I am to share a few more with you.

In this particular playlist I’m sharing five songs intertwined with Scripture to help solidify the message each song raves about. The Scripture I’ve included will help to fill our hearts to overflowing with some powerful, mind-blowing, heart-tugging testified truth of who Jesus is and what He can do for each one of us! Turn up the volume, friends, cuz…

Time to…Worship Him! Praise Him!

So you don’t have to spend time looking each song up, and can get your worship on pronto, if you keep scrolling you’ll notice I’ve included each song below in one handy dandy spot!! AND…because God speaks to us through the Scriptures you betcha you’re gonna run across some stellar Bible verses – all about Jesus – in the playlist mix you’re about to encounter!!

Friends, the Bible is God’s living, breathing, all-powerful, active – straight outta His own mouth hitting hearts and sinking deep down in souls – words. When we take the time to open our Bibles, we learn…we grow…we get to worship and praise God Almighty to the fullest! So, use the list of verses I’ve included below. Study them!
