Tears Lead to Joy!

I was recently reminded of this verse in a season of overflowing tears. Oh, how my momma heart ached and the tears just kept coming. I LOVE how God speaks to me, and this was one of those times He came in like a soothing gush of wind and stirred my soul. GOD’S COMFORT AND PEACE IN ACTION!!!

I love exploring different versions of Scripture, and thought I’d share the New Living Translation, and expand my sharing with both verses 5 & 6 **because verse 6 is just as uplifting as verse 5**!

“Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.
They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.”

Psalms 126:5, 6 (NLT)

It’s so comforting to know our tears will be turned to joy! I know God has everything in His hands, and that’s what keeps my heart singing. Let your heart sing too!

Before I end, I wanted to share one more nugget of amazingness I found while digging deeper into this Bible verse. One of the cool things I enjoy about this Bible is the Life Application notes. Fill Your Heart!

Psalms 125:5 & 6 just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter!! As I sat filling my heart with these verses God reminded me that my tears would most definitely lead to joy. AND, He came through **like He always does**!! In the midst of my momma heartache I was able to feel God’s gentle hands wipe away my tears and lovingly grace me with His joyful peace.

GREAT NEWS —> The verses we read in the Bible are there for all of us!! God turned my tears into joy and He can do the same for you. Claim this verse and allow your Heavenly Father to flood your heart with His comforting JOY!
